The leaves are falling, and it’s time to turn our attention to our family hearths. At Guaranteed Automotive and Transmission Service, we feel deeply fortunate to be surrounded by such a wonderful community of Lafayette, IN. It is with sincere gratitude that we survey our year; a year marked by the ongoing support of our customers in and around Lafayette.
As you, our customers, turn towards home, don’t forget to show gratitude to your cars for safely seeing you to your many destinations! Your vehicle is the silent container of so much of your life--conversations with your children, your favorite music, that road trip you will never forget.
Here are some ways you can say thank you to your car this year:
Check your brakes
Brake pads wear down, brake fluid needs to be topped off, and tire treads need to be inspected. If your brakes squeak when you depress the brake pedal, or if it’s taking longer than usual for your car to stop, it’s a good bet that you need to have your brakes looked at.
Check your fluids
Transmission, engine, window cleaner, oil, etc.--your car needs these vital fluids topped up to function its best.
Replace the lights
With the days growing shorter and darkness dominating, it is a good idea to replace your head and tail lights. Did you know that lights begin to grow dim long before they burn out? Don’t wait until you get dinged with a burnt out light ticket.
Get your tires checked
Checking for proper alignment, worn tire treads, tires that are not being evenly worn, etc., can significantly improve your car’s safety quotient.
Check your suspension
If your car tends to drag to one side or another or else nosedives when you brake, it’s a sure sign that your suspension needs some TLC.
For these, and so many other auto repairs and auto maintenance, Guaranteed Automotive and Transmission Service is proud to serve you. We are only a phone call away. Our hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00am-6: 00 pm and Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00-5: 00 pm.
In deep gratitude,
The team at Guaranteed Automotive and Transmission Service
