With accident statistics soaring nationwide during October, we want to make sure you all stay safe out there! Here are some tips to keep you and your loved ones safe: Get your eyes checked. This may seem basic, but when was the last time you had a vision test? Make sure that your prescriptions are up to date. If you find wearing glasses or contacts bothersome, consider Lasik surgery. If you do not currently wear corrective lenses, consider getting an eye exam as part of your overall health. Get your headlights and taillights checked. Over time, these lights can fade, which can lead to diminished visibility on the road. They need to be replaced at least every four years. Don’t wait until they burn out. The July 2018 Schedule for County Fairs Near Lafayette, IN

Lafayette is busily preparing for their annual Tippecanoe 4-H County Fair which will take place July 21-28 at the Tippecanoe Fairgrounds! Since 1930, this fair has been delighting participants and spectators, young and old alike! The fair launches bright and early July 21 with events for rabbits, pocket animals and vivariums, llamas, swine, horses and ponies, and more.     July 23 continues with exciting sheep shows, the selection of the Sheep Champion, and a goat show. Also, there will be a Horse and Pony Drill Team in the Horse Arena, followed by a halter show at 7 pm. Tuesday, July 24 will feature the beef show and evening selection of the Beef Grand Prairie Champion.
