Auto Repair facilities in the Approve Auto Repair program have been certified by AAA to meet stringent quality standards in training, equipment and customer service. AAA members receive, on request, a free safety inspection with any paid repair, a minimum 12-month/12,000 mile warranty, guaranteed written estimates, return of replacement parts and AAA-mediated dispute resolution.

ATRA (Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association) is a worldwide non-profit trade association for the automatic transmission repair industry. ATRA is primarily composed of independent transmission repair facilities who must meet certain criteria. These facilities apply the ATRA Member Code of Ethics and principles to their services and methods of doing business. ATRA also help consumers by supplying independent repair facilities with the latest technical information through magazine subscriptions, technical service bulletins, and hosting training seminars.
Guaranteed Transmission Service set the standard for area independent transmission shops by being the first transmission service facility to join ATRA in 1986.
ATSG (Automatic Transmission Service Group), is a technical support association for the Automatic Transmission Industry. ATSG offer members technical support through hotlines, books, software, bulletins, and seminars.
